Kyle Larson’s crew chief Cliff Daniels is happy to have someone of Larson’s ability back in the sports.

Larson is nearing his Cup Series return with Hendrick Motorsports after his suspension last April. During his time away from NASCAR, the former Chip Ganassi Racing driver won a lot of races and plaudits for his dirt racing skills. He recently won the Chili Bowl Nationals to further justify his tag as one of the best dirt racers right now.

However, despite all his passion for dirt racing, Larson finds home driving in the Cup Series. While he might not be as successful in NASCAR’s top tier, but there is no denying his racing abilities.

His crew chief recently spoke about the competitor that Larson is on the race track.

“Just to have his talent back on our racetracks and in our sport, I think is great.

“It’s been fun to just get to know Kyle…Just to see him compete in that environment, to see his demeanor, is really cool. Because for someone with that much talent, that much ability, to go win in anything and just to have the demeanor he has.

“You would never know standing there talking to the guy that he’s about to go be the fiercest competitor on track five minutes before a race.”

Driving the No. 5 car for HMS, Larson, too, is confident that he will not finish the 2021 Cup Series season empty-handed.

While he might have a lot of fans in the racing industry, Larson will need to justify the plaudits he receives with his performances this season.
