Chase Elliott is happy to be able to lean on Kyle Larson and Chase Briscoe for his Chilli Bowl involvement.

After a successful 2020 Cup Series campaign, where he won his first championship, Elliott is having an eventful off-season. He is set to participate in the Chilli Bowl Nationals, along with his Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Kyle Larson.

And, it seems that Larson has been of help to the 2020 Champion. Speaking about Larson, Elliott said:

“He’s been too nice to me through all this. I do appreciate all the help.”

Larson has previously revealed that he was impressed by Elliott’s abilities to adapt to situations and has become even a bigger fan of the No.9 HMS Chevrolet driver.

As a winner of the last year edition, Larson can be a big help for Elliott, who is just debuting in the competition. Elliott agreed to this fact.

“I completely agree. Appreciate the help, I feel like there’s a lot of people that you can lean on. The smaller you keep the circle, the better, but everybody has a different approach. I’ve tried to keep it pretty small between Kyle and [Chase] Briscoe.”

Both the drivers will be turning their attention towards 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 after their Chilli Bowl involvement. Elliott will be looking to defend his title while Larson will be aiming to get his Cup Series mojo back after months of absence.
