Kevin Harvick impressive season came to a spinning and sudden end on Sunday when he was eliminated from the playoffs in a stunning upset at Martinsville Speedway.
The 44-y-o was one point below the cutline when winner Chase Elliott crossed the finish line with one car ahead of him to grab the required marker. However, that one car was none other than No. 18 Kyle Busch and hewasn’t going to make it easy for Harvick.
Harvick tried to knock the No.18 ride of Busch out of his way in a dissapointed desperate effort. Both cars spun and Harvick missed out on making the final four by just a single point.

“These championships aren’t like winning like Petty and Earnhardt used to win them. You have to put them together three weeks at a time.”
