NASCAR only African American driver Bubba Wallace, has partnered with Root Insurance to produce a new advertisement, entitled “Unapologetic.” including tweets, headlines and news clips from the summer of 2020, the advertisement serves as both a statement of purpose and a direct refutation to the President of the USA.

Wallace is only three races away from joining up with Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s new 23XI Racing team.

The ad below takes a swift tour through Bubba’s messy summer, from calling out NASCAR for its use of the Confederate flag to drawing criticism by name from the president.

In the middle of the summer ongoing racial justice, from social justice protests to the discovery of a noose found in a Talladega garage to NASCAR banning the Confederate flag, Wallace emerged as NASCAR most famous active driver.
