Kansas winner Joey Logano said that he would rather race on a go-kart if racing was all about having fun.
Logano booked his spot in the 2020 NASCAR Championship final by winning the first race of the Round of 8 at Kansas Speedway. The 2018 Champion doesn’t see NASCAR races as particularly having fun and rather considers it as a job.
“I don’t have fun driving a racecar. I have fun winning. That’s what I enjoy doing. That’s what this is at this point. If I want to have fun, I’ll go to a go-kart track and have fun. I don’t look at it as fun. I look at it as a job to win.”

Logano beat Harvick in a 40-lap battle where he held the Stewart-Haas Racing driver for the win.
While many have considered Harvick and Denny Hamlin as Championship favorite, Logano has outsmarted the two drivers to book his spot into the final.
Harvick is also in a very good position to qualify after his runner-up finish at Kansas. He is 41 points above the cutline, and Hamlin is 20 points above.
