ARCA Menards driver Hailie Deegan is set to make her Truck Series debut at Kansas Speedway in the coming weekend.
The 19-year-old driver will drive the No. 17 Ford in that race. Even though it is her first season in the ARCA Menards Series, Deegan has provided some solid performances so far this season.
In 19 races this season, Deegan has recorded four top-four and 16 top-10 finishes. Due to her performances, she finds herself third in the points standings, 61 points behind first-placed Bret Holmes and 53 points behind second-place Michael Self.

Speaking about her upcoming debut in the Truck Series, Deegan said:
“Honestly, I wasn’t really planning on running trucks this year. But in order for me to qualify for the races I want to run in the future I have to run this race.
“It’s definitely going to be hard, it’s going to be challenging. I think our goal is to finish the race.”
