Bubba Wallace out to “showcase what I can do behind the wheel” with his new team

Bubba Wallace believes that the new team will provide him with the equipment with which he can compete for wins.

Wallace is set to leave Richard Petty Motorsports at the end of the 2020 season to join the Denny Hamlin-Michael Jordon partnership team.

Anticipations are high for the team both on the field and off the field. Wallace, however, has no wins to his name in his NASCAR career. But it can also be put down to the lack of race-winning speed in RPM cars.

Recently, Hamlin said that the new team will provide Wallace with race-winning equipment. As for Wallace, he is already firing up to showcase his skills behind such equipment. Revealing his conversation with Jordon, Wallace said:

“He called me and said, ‘We want to do this right, no more messing around, we want to win’.

“I want to go out there and showcase what I can do behind the wheel.”
