Kevin Harvick was himself surprised with his Souther 500 win at Darlington Raceway as he clinched his eighth win of the 2020 season.
Harvick was running in the third position while the two drivers ahead of him, Chase Elliott and Martin Truex Jr., fought for the first position. This battle turned out in Harvick’s favor as the two drivers made contact with the wall, damaging their cars.
Harvick took advantage of this opportunity to take the lead and win the race.
