Richard Petty Motorsports are reported to be “very close” to making several major announcements for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season.
According to Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, team co-owner Andrew Murstein made claims that the team is “very close” to making several major announcements pertaining to the 2021 campaign and beyond.
Although not yet confirmed, it has been reported that the one prospective investor from the NASCAR is Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin.
Last week Denny Hamlin neither confirmed nor denied the reports when asked about whether or not he had been attempting to gain an ownership stake in the RPM team.
