A video clip was surfacing on social media Sunday evening that showed police officers fired shots at Jacob Blake, an African American man, hitting him in the back several times.

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace also tweeted about the incident, however in a different manner. He simply wrote “#JacobBlake” which prompted a significant number of responses.

Twitter users saw the Bubba tweet, they reacted to NO.43 driver with strong words. Some showed support, while others users reacted with outrage. Another portion of users began tweeting images of Blake’s criminal record.

  1. People are giving him to much of a hard time. What happened to the W boy was bad, but his murderer got jailed, the police who didnt need to shoot that man are on the loose, and they’ll do it again.

  2. Why doesn’t Bubba go to work for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? They are getting old and need another big mouth and would give him a big job so he could get all the attention he wants. Leave Nascar!
