Chase Elliott’s Sunday at Dover NASCAR Cup Series doubleheader didn’t go as he would have liked.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver had damage to the front of his No. 9 Chevrolet ride ended his day just with only six laps in.

Joey Logano No. 22 car and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. tangled off Turn 4, forcing Chase Elliott to make contact with the rear bumper of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle “Rowdy” Busch as the pack stacked up. That contact left quite bit  amount of damage to Elliott’s No. 9 Car.

Kyle Larson apologizes again: ‘I was just ignorant. And immature’

Chase Elliott, the two-time winner of 2020, finished fifth in Saturday’s Dover race after starting from the pole position. He will finish Sunday’s race in 39th.
