Chip Ganassi Racing has emerged as a possible landing spot for pending free agent driver Bubba Wallace for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.
With Bubba Wallace is set to enter free agency. Since he is officially on the market, there will be a few teams rushing to sign him up to drive for them.
Wallace has been driving for Richard Petty Motorsports since 2017, when he stepped in for the injured Aric Almirola for four races behind the wheel of the #43 Ford. He replaced him as the full-time driver of the #43 Chevrolet in 2018 after Almirola took over from Danica Patrick behind the wheel of the #10 Ford at Stewart-Haas Racing.
.@BubbaWallace and his reps are exploring his team options for 2021, and while a return to @RPMotorsports is one of them, another possibility that’s emerged is with Chip Ganassi Racing and @McDonalds, per sources.
