NASCAR is set to announce the rest of the schedule for all the three National series next week, according to FOX Sports reporter Bob Pockrass.
While all the Cup races are running as per the new schedule after the resumption of the races on May, NASCAR has yet to add two Xfinity races and four Truck races for its 2020 schedule. According to Pockrass, NASCAR will do so in the next week, as opposed to its expected announcement this week. Furthermore, he also states that there is a chance for a swap in the venue of Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway for the Cup Series playoff races.
In response to when the 2020 schedule might come out, Pockrass replied:
“NASCAR hoped to announce rest of 2020 schedule (plan has been Cup playoffs remain same w/poss Vegas-Texas swap depending on Electric Daisy Carnival status at LVMS) this wk but has pushed announcement to next wk. Still must add 2 Xfinity/4 truck races – expected adds to Cup wknds.”
