Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch has said that he would love to get back to the broadcast booth this year or next year.
The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion was set to spend time in the broadcast booth with his brother Kurt to call the Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 5. However, as the race was postponed initially to May 30 and the second date of the race to June 1 came just one day after the Cup Series race, Kyle was unable to feature in the booth as initially planned.
Speaking to Beyond the Flag, Kyle said that he is open to doing it again in the future.
“FOX is already running down on the amount of races I have, so not sure if we’ll end up doing any other races this year, Originally, I was supposed to do Bristol Xfinity and the Truck race at Richmond, but not sure if or when they’ll reschedule that one. I would love to do it again, but we’ll see if that happens this year or maybe look at next year.”
