The 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Christopher Bell isn’t enjoying his rookie season in the NASCAR cup series. Bell is not pleased with the qualifying draw format.
He has tweeted his frustration:
“Definitely been really frustrating, that’s been our no.1 goal to get to that 24 spots for the last couple of weeks. I feel we’ve been close. Talladega, we had a great car and looked like we are gonna have a great finish. Then obviously we had that penalty that puts us back. We had the opportunity to get into the top 24 at Talladega and it didn’t work out.”
Governor’s decision could cancel August NASCAR race weekend
Christopher Bell is 26th in owner points, 17 points out of 24th. He describes the frustration of poor starting positions thanks to the qualifying draw format and the quest to get to 24th so he can start somewhere 13th-24th instead of 25th-36th: pic.twitter.com/08ZYvsWZfD
