With Brad Keselowski’s future not yet certain, there are speculations as to whether he will be among the three Team Penske drivers going into the 2021 season.

The two Team Penske drivers, Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney have contracts beyond the 2020 season, while Brad Keselowski is set to receive a contract extension. There are also rumors that Keselowski will replace Jimmie Johnson behind the wheels of the No.48 Chevrolet in the Hendrick Motorsports team.

While there are talks going on regarding a contract extension for Keselowski, it might as well be him who will continue to represent Team Penske in the 2021 season. However, if the talks don’t go through, there are a couple of suitable candidates who could replace Keselowski behind the wheels of the No.2 Ford.

One of the candidates would be Austin Cindric, son of Team Penske president Tim Cindric. He is currently fourth in the Xfinity Series standings. This year is his third season as a full-time driver in the series.

Another drive that could replace Keselowski is Matt DiBenedetto, currently with Wood Brothers Racing, who has a technical alliance with Team Penske. If Keselowski leaves, then the spot could open up for DiBenedetto, especially if he performs well in the 2020 season.
