NASCAR completed its first-ever Cup doubleheader at Pocono Raceway last weekend. The event was praised by the Cup Series drivers.
Drives liked the idea of the doubleheaders that took place at Pocono Raceway. The winner of one of the races, Kevin Harvick said:
“I think the format was great. … I think overall everybody would be super happy with a much shorter season and multiple doubleheaders. Yeah, I think it went well.”

Brad Keselowski was also really happy about the format. He expressed his delight in a twitter post:
“I loooooovvvee the idea of running twice on a weekend. … Big thumbs up, NASCAR, and everybody else who pulled it off from the teams, track officials and everybody else.
“I think it was a big success. I hope everybody liked it.”
While the events were organized without any fans in the stands, it remains to be known how the fans will enjoy doubleheaders if NASCAR decides to do it again in the future.
