Crew chief of Mike Harmon Racing’s No. 74 car, Theodore Brown, has been indefinitely suspended by NASCAR following his arrest.
The suspension comes after Brown was found to have violated behavioral rules under the section 12.8.1.e of the Xfinity Series rulebook. According to Motorsport.com, Brown was “arrested on June 8 and charged with habitual misdemeanor assault, which is a Class H felony in North Carolina, and misdemeanor assault on a female”.

Brown, who has been released on a $10,000 bond, is set for a court date on July 28 in Iredell County for both the charges.
As per arrest records in the Statesville Record & Landmark, Theodore Brown, of the same name and street location was arrested in November 2018, for “two counts of assault by strangulation inflicting serious injury”.
This season, Brown has been the chief crew of the No. 74 for 11 races.
