Nascar driver Darrell Bubba Wallace Jr. fainted while being interview by FOX NASCAR at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Bubba almost fell to the ground after racing for over three hours in Atlanta. The race started before 4 p.m. ET on a day where temperatures were above well above 70 with the usual southern summer climate.

Everything seemed okay until out of nowhere Darrell Bubba Wallace just took a sudden fall forcing one of his pit crew members to grab a hold of him quickly.

He’s the Danica Patrick of Nascar. Only way he’ll win is if everybody else crashes out. Well all the good drivers…

  1. Bubba
I am so glad you are ok. Thank you for shoeing other young African American kids like my grandson that they can make it in this sport. Hold your head up high and ahow us how ists done

    1. #8 Alex Bowman should’ve poured water on him like Bubba did him.. baaahaaa!! Stay hydrated my friend

    1. Bubba is a good driver. He does have wins in the truck series. Its not his fault that he is on a team that has a limited amount of money. Petty motors sports is a small company. He is a one car team. So before you go and open your mouth know that facts. Go Bubba.

you know you can’t ever go on here without finding negative people. I wonder how these same people would fare in that car

    2. Gotta keep on trying ,Bubba
Love all the race car drivers but my favorite is Jimmie my most un favorite is Kyle and we know which Kyle I’m talking about.

      1. Gez Mr Williams, no where did he take a knee, he basically went down like a dish rag a few minutes before the interview, he hadn’t got rehydrated a bit, did you see Ryan Neman sitting on his butt I guess he was protesting by taking a butt, I use to race late models (still have one) and a couple time in just a 50 or 100 lap race I had to go to medical due to the heat and sweating so much, (they want it to be a color sport) lol you let your intentions be known with that remark, then your ignorance by saying the people that don’t agree need to boycott NASCAR, you mean the ones that agree with you need to boycott NASCAR, guess what your not a fan and you won’t be missed!!!

Periods, of course, are not used after every word. So follow your own advice. In addition, need is not the same as “Nedd.” Good luck with remedial writing and spelling!

I know! I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Like I said, I wonder how they would do behind the wheel

  2. Greg Williams

Bubba was just taking a knee in protest! I’ll never watch Nascar again. They want it to be a color sport and crap on the fans that made the sport.Nascar is declining because of these ***** decisions. The people that don’t agree need to boycott Nascar.

  3. David Witmire, he shouldn’t be a race car driver, why??? Perhaps he was over heated or exhausted or dehydrated and any number of things.

    1. When real men drove they didn’t have coolsuits-power steering- all they got was a bottle of water and you may have seen some every now and then when the race was over get a wet towel put on his head but have never seen one pass out that way….LOL

Different era. Todays cars are much faster and aerodynamically cleaner resulting in little air funneled to the interiors of the vehicles. The higher G forces also have a greater impact than when “real men” drove slower cars. You also didn’t have the opportunity to see a lot of races, even as replays back in the day. Those that were covered had a limited number of cameras and commentators. Everything is different. If anything, these kids are in better shape than during “the good old days.”

There have been numerous drivers in the sport who have near passed out when the race was over. The temperatures today are much higher than they were back then & the drivers back then were not crammed into cubicle

  4. DWAYNE MOORE

YOU KNOW HE IS NOT THE BEST, BUT HE IS BETTER THEN SOME OF THEM AND HE GIVE IT 100% ALL THE TIME. BY THE WAY HE IS NOT WITH ONE OF THE TOP 15 TEAMS, AND HE FINNISH IN THE TOP 15 A LOT.

  5. Steve Evenson

David Whitmore, how many races have you won? Bubba has multiple race wins in the truck series, do you? Who made you the decider for who deserves a ride and who doesnt? Shut up

  6. Wally Walston

Gregg Williams. Boycott NASCAR because they will not miss you after making statements like that.

    1. Bubba, I’m glad you are ok. You are an asset to nascar. I love seeing you race and also how you interact with fans. You always give a 100% and you also show that race drivers are like anyone else. There have been times that you have poured your heart out on personal issues and I so appreciate you being real. You also play a mean set of drums. Keep doing what you have always done, being you and being real. Look forward to seeing you compete next week, you are admired by a large following of nascar.

  7. Something was suspicious about the interview when they interviewed the 15 th position and not the 3rd. Someone explain that if you dare to go there!

  8. I read that Bubba is diabetic. If so he probably had low blood sugar and also needed hydration . He is a good driver IMHO.
