Bubba Wallace believes that “some people out there that want to see us fail” on NASCAR return to racing.
As NASCAR is set to return to the track at Darlington Raceway on Sunday, all eyes will be on them regarding how they will organize the event without compromising health issues. While NASCAR has clear guidelines on safety issues during the race such as screenings, social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment, Bubba Wallace thinks there will be people ready to “nitpick” at every opportunity on NASCAR return.
Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show on NBCSN, Wallace said:
I think we are setting the tone for how this goes.
I think there will be a lot of eyes on us because one, sports will be back on TV and two, there are some people out there that want to see us fail and can nitpick at every little thing if we don’t follow the right guidelines.

Walla also shed light on his health and stressed that everyone is taking extra measures to be ready for the event in all aspects.
I’m as healthy as I can be right now.
We are all on eggshells with the screening process, what goes down and takes place.
It’s just kind of nerve-wracking because if one driver has it, it can all be taken underneath them.
We are all taking extra measures [to be] ready physically, emotionally, mentally.
nascar is losing its not racing anymore to may rules it has become to yuppie the cars are cookey cut the cars are all the same just the drivers are different and the team that has the most money get all the brakes the sponsors don’t pay to have their cars parked behind the wall if they cant fix it in 6 min when Earnhardt died racing went to crap he stood up for the racers and sponsors and the fans
