After almost two months of no racing events, NASCAR has released an updated 2020 schedule. NASCAR is finally returning to the racetrack on May 17 at Darlington Raceway. Furthermore, the sanctioning body announced that the race will be the first of the seven races in the NASCAR Cup Series to be held within 11 days in two race tracks.
While the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series has been keeping NASCAR drivers busy during these months, they are joyous with the news of the real-life racing event.
Here’s how drivers reacted to the updated NASCAR 2020 schedule:
I’m excited to get back racing. Safety is obviously the most important thing & I know NASCAR has been working to ensure that we have the necessary safety precautions in place. While it’s unfortunate that there won’t be fans in the stands, it’s obviously necessary at this time.

We’ll be missing the fans, but we’ve got some of the best in sports and their energy will still be felt when we strap back in. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.
