In the absence of real-time racing, eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series not only gaining a lot of attention among fans but is breaking records too. The NASCAR iRacing event at the virtual Texas Motor Speedway became the highest-rated televised esports event with 1.3 million total viewers from Fox and FS1.
The first round at the virtual Homestead-Miami drew 910,000 viewers but it was only broadcasted on FS1. The second edition of the NASCAR iRacing event at virtual Texas comfortably beat the viewership record.

The first event was won by Denny Hamlin while the second was won by Timmy Hill. The event, which features a lot of full-time NASCAR drivers, is set to continue as the regular season is suspended until at least May 9. The event will be organized until the season resumes.
The next event in the race is at the virtual Bristol Motor Speedway, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 5 at 1 pm ET.
The series, which has been a major hit so far, will attract more viewers in the coming days and will likely break more records in the process.
