NASCAR: Drivers that are set to hit the free agent market

Next season NASCAR Cup Series free-agent class will be loaded. Here we take a look at the drivers who’s yet to have contracts to race in the 2021 season.

Only four of the 36 events on the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series schedule had taken place when the sports world was brought to a sudden pause by the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

So far, seven schedule race event has been cancel, even after NASCAR had initially planned to get this past weekend’s races underway without any fans in the stands.

Postponements and cancellations: TRACKER

As of right now, racing is scheduled to begin on May 9 at Martinsville Speedway, however, this is subject to change.

Although the 2020 season is currently at a standstill, there isn’t really much to discuss about it; all the drivers and teams are set, so while this hiatus could end up being quite lengthy, it is much different than an offseason.
